Diabetes Awareness and Education
The mission of the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation is to impact and enrich our communities by providing essential support for education, philanthropy, and leadership.
Alpha Gamma Delta was the first women's fraternity to establish an international philanthropy project.
Our chosen philanthropic focus is diabetes research, awareness, and education.
We work closely with the American Diabetes Association among many other organizations to expand our efforts to the fullest.
Here at APSU, our annual philanthropy event is our Mr. Austin Peay Pageant, where men from all organizations, clubs, and sports teams compete in a pageant to be named the next "Mr. Austin Peay".
Although our philanthropic work is near and dear to our hearts, we also thoroughly enjoy participating in raising money for other organizations philathropies through their respected events. We are always thriving to live by our purpose and serve our community.
To welcome the opportunity of contributing to the world's work in the community where I am placed because of the joy of service thereby bestowed, and the talent of leadership multiplied.
